The file is a JSON package holding the whole canvas: vector paths, imported images, text and the position of every object on the work area. Along with the artwork it keeps the processing settings attached to each object - operation type (cut, score or engrave), laser power, speed, number of passes and the selected material profile - so a job can be reopened and run again exactly as it was set up.
