How do I extract images from an XML file?

Depends on how they are stored. Base64-encoded images (long blocks of letters and digits inside a tag) need decoding — copy the block into a base64-to-file decoder. Referenced images (a path or URL in an attribute) are separate files you fetch from that location. And if the XML itself is the image (SVG or VectorDrawable), converting the whole file to PNG here is the direct route.
